The Public Service Center offers students volunteer, service-learning, community service, and student leadership opportunities through a variety of programs. There are many ways to serve.  Let us help you get started.

Get Involved


With over 30 student programs, you can get involved locally and nationally. Participate in one of our leadership programs to build your leadership skills. Work with children in one of the PreK-12 Outreach Programs.

Can’t wait to start your Cornell career? POST's goals continue to endure for participants: meet new people and friends, fulfill the Cornell tradition of performing community service, and get to know the local community beyond the Cornell campus. POST is led by upper-level leaders who will guide you, create a fun and memorable experience, and share valuable advice to ease your transition to Cornell. You’ll also learn about the opportunities that extend beyond orientation for community-service involvement.

 

Get a Job

The Community Work-Study Program helps students who have a Federal Work-Study award work off campus with over 50 local non-profits. Do valuable community service and get paid! See our current PSC job listing

 

 

Public Service Center Room and Van Reservation

The office has meeting spaces available for use by volunteer organizations and staff. Please submit reservation requests using the Room Reservation Form.  Contact cupsc@cornell.edu with any questions regarding meeting spaces.

The Public Service Center has three vehicles available for use by approved organizations, following the certifcation of one or more drivers. Please visit the PSC Vehicle Website for more information.
