Community Work-Study

The Community Work-Study Program (CWSP), sponsored by the Cornell University Public Service Center (PSC), enables Cornell Federal Work-Study students to work for nonprofit organizations, schools, and municipalities primarily in Ithaca and Tompkins County but also throughout New York State and the U.S.

CWSP offers opportunities in a variety of areas, including the arts, education, tutoring, daycare, environmental programs, health services, legal services, programs for older people, public works and engineering, women's organizations, and youth programs.

CWSP provides Cornell students with real-life work experiences that are designed to improve the quality of life for community residents, particularly low-income individuals, or to solve particular problems related to their needs.
