Cornell Urban Scholars in Washington

Cornell Urban Scholars in Washington is dedicated to supporting the efforts of Washington D.C.'s most innovative non-profit organizations and local government agencies to eliminate the fundamental causes of poverty. Urban Scholars join the Cornell in Washington program and participate in a service-learning course that encourages Cornell's most talented students to pursue public service careers with organizations that work with D.C.'s poorest children, families, and communities.

Urban Scholars in Washington is a partnership between the Cornell Public Service Center and the Cornell in Washington Program, and involves a suite of programs that together provide an innovative model for public service and mentorship activities.
